Roberta Cleary is the Marketing Director at Fort Dearborn Partners and Fort Dearborn Advisors. She has over 30 years of business and sales experience. She was in the packaging field in outside sales for the duration of her career and grew her account base from zero to over $2 million in revenue. She was awarded "Woman of the Year" by Women in Management and "All-Around Sales Person of the Year" from The Royal Group, a corrugated box manufacturer.
Roberta was responsible for training new sales representatives. She was known for asking technical questions in the manufacturing plant and early morning phone calls to ensure her jobs were "on the press." She conducted plant tours for prospects and customers. She was a member of the interview committees to select new Sales Managers and sales representatives.
Roberta handled accounts in 5 states and worked closely with a Packaging Network to ship product around the country.
Roberta attended the Rochester Institute of Technology for advanced training in Graphic Packaging, as well as in-house training seminars on sales techniques and negotiations.
Roberta received her B.S. with Honors from DePaul University. She currently sits on the President's Club Advisory Council at DePaul University.
Roberta is a former member of the Technical Association of the Pulp and Paper Industry, Women in Management and Women in Sales,
